If you have a Google account and are using the Google Calendar app or website, you are probably wondering how to cancel a meeting. There are a number of options available to you. You can reschedule, notify attendees, or delete a meeting.
The first step is to sign in to your Google account. If you are using a mobile device, you will need to navigate to the Google Calendar app and click on the event you want to cancel. This will open up the details page. In the event details section, you will see three options: Delete, Delete Forever, and Empty Trash. Choosing Delete, for example, will remove the event from the calendar and your attendees’ calendars. Having this option may make it easier to remove the event if you need to do so.

Using the Delete option to remove a meeting from your calendar is the same as doing so from the desktop version. However, you will need to have ‘Delete permanently’ permission to be able to remove the meeting permanently. Depending on the reason for the cancellation, you may need to consider other time commitments before making this decision.
There are a number of other features to look for when you are deciding to delete a meeting. First, you need to know if the event is recurring or not. Some events are only scheduled for one day, while others are set to repeat weekly or monthly. By selecting the appropriate option, you can make sure that only a single occurrence of a recurring event is deleted. Additionally, you will be prompted to write an explanation of why the event is being canceled.

Next, you need to consider how to best handle the rescheduling of a meeting. If you are using a desktop site, you can choose the reschedule option and click on a date to reschedule the event. Alternatively, you can select the reschedule option and then use the ‘Email Guests’ feature to send a notification to the attendees. Unlike the reschedule option, this option will send the message to everyone who was invited to the original meeting.
One of the more important features is the ability to send a notification to the people who were invited to the original event. The ‘Send’ button is located on the bottom right of the pop-up window. When clicked, this function will display a pop-up that will allow you to choose whether to notify the attendees via email, SMS, or other methods.
In addition to the ‘Send’ button, you also have the ‘Delete’ option. While this feature is not as impressive as the ‘Cancel’ button, it will still save you time and effort in the long run. Also, by choosing ‘Delete’, you will not be notified of the reschedule.
Finally, you will want to take a closer look at the other functions of the ‘Send’ button. Among other features, you can change the owner of the event, duplicate a copy of the event to a different calendar, and print the event’s details.
